ADMISSIONS

Mentoring Academy does not discriminate in its admissions, employment, financial aid, or program administration on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender, or religion.

Mentoring Academy practices Rolling Admissions, therefore students are accepted year round, given the appropriate circumstances.

Admissions Process

Prospective families are encouraged to attend one of our Information Sessions to learn more about our school, meet mentors, current students, and current parents!

Information Session Dates:

-Saturday, October 15th, 1:00pm-3:00pm

-Saturday, November 5th, 1:00pm-3:00pm

-Saturday, December 3rd, 1:00pm-3:00pm

-Saturday, January 21st, 1:00pm-3:00pm

From there, prospective students are encouraged to visit our school at least twice so that we can get to know each other. Normally, visits last for a half-day (either 9:00am-1:00pm, or 1:00pm-5:30pm). During the visit, students will have the opportunity to visit classes, interact with current students, and mentors.

A meeting between the Head of School and prospective parents will be scheduled to discuss the needs of the student and the structure of Mentoring.

After visiting and deciding whether or not we are the right choice, prospective students should go online to fill out our application. Note, that there are two essays and application fee of $75.00.

For the 2016-2017 Academic Year, we have reached maximum capacity. However, families who are still interested in the 2016-2017 Academic Year are welcome to apply to be placed on our waitlist. Others are encouraged to apply for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
