Dear Prospective Parent, 

 

Our journey is probably very similar to yours and many of the parents at Mentoring. We wanted a school where our son could thrive, as well as learn. We knew he was very bright and enquiring, but he couldn’t quite “get” school. He floundered-- testing well, but performing poorly. We knew we needed to find a different school for him. Thus, we were excited when we discovered Mentoring. 

 

Mentoring Academy is a unique high school encouraging the academic success of each student, by addressing individual interests, needs, skills and learning styles. As I overheard one parent state, Mentoring doesn’t fit the student to the school, rather fits the school to the student.

 

I know that this is a difficult journey searching for the right school for your child. I have experienced this. What I encourage you to do is to seek out the instructors, staff, parents and students and ask them about their journeys, why they choose Mentoring and how they feel now that they are here.
